I can't do it. D: It's horribly frustrating. I have no technique to follow, and looking at photographs doesn't help. God, it's really terrible to have ideas in your head that you can't express in any way whatsoever. They can't come out through writing, because you want them to be visual. You can't get them out through stylized work, because your lineart is sloppy and even your use of the pen tool looks like you drew it freehand. Abstract won't work because you're completely uninterested. I could go on. But like I said, it's terrible. I feel like this a lot, and I don't seem to be improving at all lately.
Someone told me the best way to improve is to not see how well you did, but how bad you did. And I've been seeing the bad in my art for a couple of months, and there's no improvement.
Sorry for whining, but if I didn't get some of it out here, I was gonna punch something. ;o;
